Hello world

This is my first post. I don’t know how this social media works or if I’ll stick to it, but it’s worth a trial.

Actually, this is something to keep track of my professional life stories and experience.

To settle the mood, I’m currently at the 10th period of my bachelor degree in Network Engineering at University of Brasilia, Brasília. I’ve have been an intern at the Tribunal de Contas da União’s Cybersecurity Service for a 1 and 8 months, which is more or less about the time I decided I wanted to persue a career in cybersec.

At TCU, a belong to a sort of blue team so I work with incident response, taking care of infected machines and some other operacional infosec tasks, logs investigation, blocking or allowing URLs and other little less interesting infosec demands, all of this answering to a queue system and that’s basically it.

I’ve done many courses so far about many IT subjects, but mostly in cybersec. I am Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Certified, so this means I’ve taken both Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Azure Security Technologies (AZ-500) exams (and passed). Maybe I’ll post more about this later.

I’ve just started working on my Final Graduation Project (TCC, most commonlly in portuguese), whose theme is “Comodo EDR: Implementation and analysis on endpoint protection in a controlled environment”.

Basically the goal here is to post about my final project or other nice projects I might assume at work.

I hope this is not my first and last post. If you feel like it, here is my linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/in/ana-paula-alarcao/
